Summer Cocktail: Peach Bourbon Lemonade

Summer Peach Bourbon Lemonade

Hello my sun-kissed friends! Summer is in full swing, which gives you the perfect excuse to sip on some spiked lemonade. Now, I wouldn't create just any old spiked lemonade - this has a southern summer twist to it with peaches and refreshing mint!

I made this drink last weekend for Josh’s surprise birthday party and it was a total hit all around! I was worried there was going to be too much and I was planning to make ice cubes out of it after the party. But to my surprise it was gone within a couple hours of the party starting!

I knew I wanted to make a whiskey cocktail (because that's Josh's drink of choice) and knew I wanted to put a fun summer spin on it. After searching for cocktails that would work for a large party I came across this peach bourbon lemonade recipe on Pinterest and I knew this was the one! What says summer more than lemonade and peaches am I right?!

I switched up the recipe I found, made it simpler and garnished with mint to really hone in on the refreshing summer scents. So, with only 7 ingredients, 3 easy steps, and the nostalgia of lazy summer days, you are sure to have your guests coming back for more.

Check out the display! This surprise party was a manly-whiskey theme, complete with vanilla cupcakes with honey-whiskey drizzle and custom signs I made to mimic the Jack Daniels logo design.
